Hi Aaron… are there others too? I’m not sure any more! Hahaha… Anyhow, no matter, and I am here to give some news about the project… but mostly about something else.
I have been recently sidetracked by my Rally Group B Shrine website and work on WaBi~SaBi’s Gruppe B conversion has been affected by it. However, work has still progressed; the turbo setup has returned to stock location and I had to remodify all the ancillaries that I had modified for the low front setup. Believe me there was a lot to do there. Cheap crap from fleabag saved me some time though. Eventually, I’ll be upgrading, but not in the short term… I need to leave myself something to do in the long term or I’ll go loco.
Right now I am at the point of doing the rear clamshell. After that is done I’ll be tackling the cabin bulkhead. Then complete the cooling systems (shit, plural, spoiler!), braking system, and fuel system. I am leaving the bodywork for the end since I decided to make the car functional first. I’ll complete the bodywork in phases, giving me the opportunity for some testing in between, as all prototypes should.
Ok, time to write about what has kept me busy on my Shrine… In fact a BUNCH of things. Too varied to re-tell here so you’ll have to go check out for yourselves in my explanatory post:
HOWEVER, I am giving you guys a hint about the TV gig. It’s about the car show of some guy with quite a protruding chin that once made jokes late at night. I am not sure when the episode will air but it should be rather soon. I will be able to look proudly and say: I helped! Like mama’s apple pie way back when… Awwwwww!
A friend of mine says that I should milk all of these recent opportunities like crazy but it doesn’t feel right to me so I’m leaving things to Karma! Good things may come my way, eventually…
