All good plans also get derailed at some point. The paid plan transfer to the Shrine did a mess of the media storage so I have no choice but to keep things going on here until all Group B related media is re-uploaded and re-linked properly in each article. This will take months as I will also take the opportunity to revamp / expand each article as I go through the process.
However, the sad part is that I won’t be able to continue uploading pictures to the RRS blog since it is currently at 134% capacity, and I had hoped to keep this website (albeit in private mode) open to host pictures. I’ll find a way to write my updates and deliver them via email as promised before. However, even though the work on the car is going well, I like to write my updates in a themed manner (say bodywork only, chassis only, etc) so since it’s currently much of an incomplete mish-mash, it will take some more time.
My parts sales attempt has been a total and utter failure on the blog as well. Zero sales in a year, with only one or two inquiries in between. There was also a total lack of interest in my 80’s features, albeit again I was doing it mostly for myself, and the blog in general is mostly dead with only 2 or 3 visitors per day even though months ago I had made a new INTRODUCTION and PROJECT SUMMARY pages open to the public. I believe they explained the gist of the project, while keeping the undesirables at bay, and protecting my intimate details. So yeah, all of this came into play in my decision to abandon the blog. However, I must point out that the main reason, as stated before, is that I feel my online time is better used in my Group B Shrine instead. Speaking of which, another update coming right up on that topic!
