NOTICE: PICTURES ARE NOW PARTIALLY RESTORED ON THE WEBSITE. EXCEPTIONS ARE; CAR HAULER, DIY TIPS, AND THE VARIOUS BLOGS. THOSE PICTURES SHOULD BE RESTORED WHEN MY LIMITED BANDWIDTH ON PHOTOBUCKET RESETS.
IF YOU SEE THIS:
THEN PLEASE COME BACK AT A LATER TIME. I APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE!
I must say that when I get angry I can get productive. I went on a 10 hour uploading spree on my website to transfer most of my pictures directly on here. I took only two short breaks so I am a bit woozy and my hand hurts a bit. I am now happy to report that such an occurrence that happened due to the REDDIT “invasion” should not repeat itself since the remainder of the Photobucket linked pictures are in low traffic sections.
I wish to thank WordPress for creating a wonderful, quick, and user-friendly web hosting service. Otherwise, my woes would have lasted so much longer. I was able to cut my re-uploading and link editing time way short since the WordPress post/page editor was able to access the pictures on Photobucket through the blockage. It was simply a matter of copying my own pictures on my computer and re-upload them here instead. Editing my links was fast enough when I got a rhythm going. Furthermore, by doing so, the uploaded pictures are of average 200 Kb size compared to the usual 2 Mb size. While that has reduced the picture quality a bit, it is more than good enough for my archive purposes and for my readers. That also means that I am still far away from my storage limit on here.
I know that creating this mess was not the intention of the person that linked my website on REDDIT. That person has already sent me an email and sort of semi-apologized. However, I would appreciate that next time, people who wish to share my project do so by trying to entice their peers into LEARNING about my project rather than simply pissing away ignorantly at pictures. Again, for me, the story behind my project is so much more important than simply how it looks in a picture. There’s reasons for everything, maybe not good ones you might say (that’s your opinion), but I still wish you would learn about my triumph over adversity, financial issues, and health problems. That is what makes Wabi~Sabi so special and interesting.
Lastly, I wish to thank the visitors from this recent spree that took the time to try and learn about my project a little more. The rest can remain in their ignorance and never return for what I care! It’s what it is…
